"Once Upon a Time"

by Artist Mark McDermott

A building forgotten by time. Unused and forgotten for many years. The entire house was leaning so far over that it seemed destined to topple soon. Standing at the entrance I faced a 20 foot diameter hole in the floor. The remainder of the room covered in broken glass and bits of broken wood. On the far side was this chair. The only thing left in the house. Just sitting there draped in soft light, to me it was art. A moment in a story.
